Scott Robinson Joins Rob-See-Co as Chief Information Officer
Rob-See-Co is excited to announce the hiring of Scott Robinson as Chief Information Officer (CIO). Robinson brings experience and expertise in software development, IT management, and cybersecurity, enhancing the company’s growing IT infrastructure.

2024 Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant Recipients Announced
We are happy to announce the recipients of the 2024 Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant. Out of 175 applications, ten rural libraries were chosen. They are:
Maltman Memorial Library - Wood River, NE
North Bend Public Library - North Bend, NE
Brown City District Library - Brown City, MI
Galva Public Library - Galva, IA
LaValle Public Library - LaValle, WI
Arcanum Public Library - Arcanum, OH
St. Edward Public Library - Saint Edward, NE
Coffey County Library Burlington Branch - Burlington, KS
Casselton Public Library - Casselton, ND
Coffeyville Public Library - Coffeyville, KS
Among the projects to be funded with grant dollars are STEM camps and other materials, new books on agriculture/farming, classes promoting healthy aging, and learning with legos. Congratulations to the grant recipients!
2024 Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant Announced
Rob-See-Co is excited to announce the second year of the Agnes Robinson Rural Library Grant program. The overwhelming response to the program in 2023 underscores the critical need for funding in rural libraries, prompting Rob-See-Co to establish it as an annual initiative. The grant’s namesake and Rob Robinson’s grandmother, Agnes Robinson, was a dedicated supporter of the Waterloo, Nebraska rural library and rural libraries in general.
Rural libraries in our Rob-See-Co footprint (states of CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, ND, NE, OH, OK, PA, SD, TX, and WI) will be emailed a letter with instructions and guidelines for applying for this year’s grant dollars. This year, the grant application is online—aiming to make the process easier and more efficient.
Applications will be due June 30th, 2024 and recipients will be announced October 1, 2024. To read the full press release for this year’s program, click here.
Announcing 2024 Rob-See-Co Forage Summits
The Rob-See-Co Forage Division is excited to announce the 2024 Forage Summits. We take silage seriously, with 15 summits planned in January and February! If you care about silage, join us for one of these informative meetings. There are 13 in-person summits and 2 Zoom options if you can’t make it in person.
These meetings will be packed with great information, including:
• A deep dive on corn forage products and plot data
• Placing the right silage products in the right fields
• Streamline Ag products that help crops reach their full potential
• Other important forage products – alfalfa, forage sorghum, and inoculants

Dr. Calvin Treat Joins Rob-See-Co
Rob-See-Co welcomed Dr. Calvin Treat in November as the next General Manager. Dr. Treat has over 30 years of experience building a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the seed and trait industry, including 14 years with JC Robinson Seeds in corn breeding and product management. Chuck Lee, the current General Manager, will be retiring on December 31st.

Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant
In celebration of Rob-See-Co’s 10-year anniversary this year, we announced (this past spring) the establishment of the Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant. We were humbled by the overwhelming response form rural libraries, receiving over 500 applications. As a result, we are finalizing the awarded grant recipients this week and will be informing all applicants over the next few weeks.
Rural libraries are a vital resource and make it possible for anyone to pick up a book and enter a new world for a little while. Of course, there is so much more—digital services, traveling exhibits and speakers, community events and workshops, and the list goes on. To all the amazing people who help run these cherished spaces for their communities—Thank You!

Crop Stress Outlook

Announcing the Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant
Rob-See-Co is proud to announce the establishment of the Rob-See-Co Rural Library Grant program in honor of Agnes Robinson. Agnes Robinson was the grandmother of the current Rob-See-Co CEO, Rob Robinson, and a dedicated supporter of the Waterloo Public Library in Nebraska. In recognition of the company’s 10th anniversary and Agnes Robinson’s hard work and devotion to this rural library, the company is launching this program to support rural communities in the Rob-See-Co footprint.
In celebration of Rob-See-Co’s 10-year anniversary, a total of $10,000 will be awarded to selected rural libraries in the states of CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MI, MN, ND, NE, OH, OK, SD, TX and WI.
Applications will be mailed out to rural libraries on April 10th and submissions are due by June 30th. The winners will be announced on September 28, 2023, in conjunction with Rob-See-Co’s October 1st anniversary.

Brian Davis Joins Rob-See-Co Team
Rob-See-Co welcomed Brian Davis as the Eastern Division Sales Manager covering the states of Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Michigan, Minnesota, Ohio, and Wisconsin. This announcement comes in conjunction with a newly structured sales division which allows additional sales management and channel development in the new geographic areas added through Rob-See-Co’s recent acquisitions.
Davis will lead the company’s growth and momentum in the Eastern corn belt while Jeff Dilbeck will continue to lead the sales team in the Western Division which includes Eastern Colorado, Kansas, Nebraska, North Dakota, Oklahoma, South Dakota, Texas. Click here to read the full press release.
Rob-See-Co Announces Acquisition of Federal Hybrids
With limited geographic overlap, Rob-See-Co expects to work with 100% of Federal Hybrids Distributors and these distributors will continue to sell Federal Hybrids brands through the 2022/2023 growing season. Rob-See-Co will continue to operate out of Rob-See-Co’s headquarters in Elkhorn, NE, but will utilize the Federal offices in Elgin and West Bend, IA for Federal Hybrids and ongoing operations.
