Among the projects to be funded with grant dollars are STEM camps and other materials, new books on agriculture/farming, classes promoting healthy aging, and learning with legos. Congratulations to the grant recipients!
Rob-See-Co is excited to announce the second year of the Agnes Robinson Rural Library Grant program. The overwhelming response to the program in 2023 underscores the critical need for funding in rural libraries, prompting Rob-See-Co to establish it as an annual initiative. The grant’s namesake and Rob Robinson’s grandmother, Agnes Robinson, was a dedicated supporter of the Waterloo, Nebraska rural library and rural libraries in general.
Rural libraries in our Rob-See-Co footprint (states of CO, IA, IL, IN, KS, MD, MI, MN, ND, NE, OH, OK, PA, SD, TX, and WI) will be emailed a letter with instructions and guidelines for applying for this year’s grant dollars. This year, the grant application is online—aiming to make the process easier and more efficient.

If you care about silage, join us for one of these informative meetings. There are 13 in-person summits and 2 Zoom options if you can’t make it in person.

• Placing the right silage products in the right fields
• Streamline Ag products that help crops reach their full potential

Dr. Treat has over 30 years of experience building a deep and comprehensive knowledge of the seed and trait industry, including 14 years with JC Robinson Seeds in corn breeding and product management. Chuck Lee, the current General Manager, will be retiring on December 31st.

ELKHORN, Nebr. (February 21, 2019) – With the Philippines granting import authorization for Enlist E3™ soybeans, U.S. soybean growers now have a new choice for herbicide-resistant soybeans. The Dow AgroSciences trait makes the plants resistant to the herbicides 2,4-D choline, glyphosate and glufosinate, which is a big step forward for farmers having difficulty controlling weeds resistant to other herbicides.

ELKHORN, Neb. (July 6, 2018) The recent approval of LibertyLink® GT27™ is positive news for U.S. farmers. This trait combination gives producers a new soybean platform option with high yield potential, excellent flexibility of herbicide programs with non-volatile chemistries for greater safety and simplicity in application and clean up. This new platform offers growers another choice in soybeans and weed control.

(OMAHA, Neb) China’s grain import approval on July 17, 2017 of the Agrisure Duracade® corn rootworm trait will open many more grain marketing options to U.S. corn producers. Hybrids with the Agrisure Duracade trait are available through Rob-See-Co, an independent seed company located in Waterloo, NE.
On September 12, 2016 the Agrisure® 3120 E-Z Refuge trait package received approval from the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). Agrisure 3120 E-Z Refuge, which offers above-ground insect control, includes two modes of action against corn borer and activity against several ear-feeding insects. It also provides the convenience of a 5% integrated refuge product.

ELKHORN, Neb. (May19, 2014) — Agronomy Lead Wayne Fithian is the newest member of the Rob-See-Co team. Fithian brings more than 30 years of experience in the seed business to his role with the independent seed company. Fithian has conducted research into corn and soybean genetics and their management in the field, and he’s also developed education programs to help seed providers and growers understand how advances in genetics translate to better yields.
